School Events Nation Celebration A celebration of the many nations and cultures our community represents, we typically have community members from over 30 national, ethnic or cultural groups. Sally Foster This is our main Fall fundraising event. Get your holiday gift items early while contributing to our extra programs. Babysitting Nights Approximately once a month, our senior elementary students (with staff) provide dinner and babysitting for toddler and early education students to earn money toward their field trips. Parent Orientation Usually held on the Saturday before school starts, we introduce our procedures and curriculum for the upcoming classes. Senior Elementary Camping Trip Every year our senior elementary takes a camping trip supervised by staff members. Mercado Students earn "money" towards their big shopping day usually held twice a year. Students have the option of running their own store, helping a fellow store owner or just being a shopper for the day. Timeline of Life Parade and Blood Drive All the students participate in this annual event. Each program level is assigned an era. The students pick a living organism within that era, do research, and present their findings in writing, as well as dressing up as their organism. The students then line up in order, from algae to modern man, and complete the timeline of life parade. We combine this fun event with a blood drive to support United Blood Services. Winter Concert Students organize our annual winter concert to celebrate the holiday season. All grades take turns singing your holiday favorites. Volleyball Potluck Picnic Each Spring the whole school has a potluck picnic with volleyball. Peace Celebration Everyone looks forward to the peace celebration where we focus on world peace. Talent Show Our annual talent show is a great hit highlighting the special skills of our students. Science Fair Our budding scientists show off their analytical skills for our annual science fair. Senior Elementary Big Trip Each year, our senior elementary takes a big trip. We combine fun with learning. Trike-a-thon Grab your tricycle and helmet for our early education trike-a-thon for charity. Events Calendar
